The Education Student Loan Fund appealed to students

The Fund informed Qazet.az reports that according to the proposal of the Ministry of Science and Education, additions and changes were made to the "Rule for granting education student loans at the expense of the funds of the Education Student Loan Fund" by the relevant Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the decision, students belonging to the following two socially vulnerable population groups will also be able to receive a social education student loan at the expense of the Education Student Loan Fund:

- Students receiving labor pension due to the loss of the head of the family;

- Students who received the title of "War veteran" by participating in military operations for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

- According to the existing legislation, the scope of social education student loans was as follows before the mentioned change:

- Members of families receiving state social assistance;

- People who have been diagnosed with a disability due to 31-60 percent violation of the body's functions;

- Those whose both parents (in the case of a single parent, that person) belong to any of the following categories:

- Persons who have been diagnosed with a disability due to 61-80 or 81-100 percent violation of body functions;

- Those registered as unemployed;

- Recipients of labor pension due to age;

- Recipients of social benefits due to age.

It was reported that the process of accepting applications for educational student loans for the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year continues. Students who want to get an education loan can apply online at www.e-ttkf.edu.az.
