The heads of foreign affairs of Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic had a meeting
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky within the framework of the 29th meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers held in Lodz, Poland.
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the dynamic development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic, and it was noted that the current relations have the character of a strategic partnership.
J. Bayramov emphasized that there is great potential for further expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic.
The ministers noted the importance of continuing political consultations between the two countries and exchanged views on the prospects of developing cooperation in a number of fields, including energy security, economic and trade fields.
J. Bayramov informed his colleague about the post-conflict situation in the region, the steps taken by Azerbaijan in the direction of peace building in the region, the restoration and construction works carried out in the liberated areas, as well as the ongoing mine threats.
At the meeting, the parties also discussed regional and international security issues.
