The information on the driver's license in Azerbaijan will be transferred to the automatic electronic information system

According to Qazet.az reports, this was reflected in the law on amending the law "On Compulsory Insurance" approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to the amendment to the law, the relevant executive power body should connect the information contained in its electronic information reserve to the information system in order to automatically receive the information contained in the registration certificate of vehicles registered in foreign countries entering the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and in the document confirming the identity of the owners of those vehicles. must provide.

With the amendment, the relevant executive authority must ensure that the following information available in its electronic information reserve is automatically accepted into the information system, and that reserve is connected to the information system:

➡ information reflected in the content of the extract about the state registration of rights from the state register of immovable property;

➡information contained in the contract on the lease or other property rights of the real estate and the vehicle, or in the power of attorney on the rights to use or dispose of the vehicle;

➡information on the driver's license.
