The introduction of innovations related to pension has started

A number of laws come into force in Azerbaijan from January 1.

Qazet.az reports that according to MP Vugar Bayramov speaking to the media, as a result of this, an increase in labor pensions will be recorded.

The changes will expand the pension opportunities of citizens.

Residents of the liberated territory are exempted from profit, property, land and simplified tax for 10 years from January 1. This was reflected in the amendment to the Tax Code.

In addition, the VAT refund mechanism is also changing.

From this year, for the first time, a single indexation mechanism will be applied to pensions. This will allow approximately 90,000 citizens whose pensions were not indexed in the previous periods to benefit from this. This year, for the first time, the thresholds of the living wage and the need criterion will be equalized.

A Food Safety Register will be created based on the changes in the "Food Safety" law that came into force today. Registered food subjects or food objects will be included in the said register. They will be given an electronic or written extract from the registry.
