The Iranian parliament accepted the impeachment proposal of the Minister of Economy and Finance
Iran's parliament has accepted the impeachment proposal for Seyyed Ahsan Khandozi, the country's Minister of Economy and Finance.

Qazet.az reports with reference to "Tasnim" that this was stated by Mohammad Hasan Asefari, deputy of the city of Arak, Iran.

According to him, this proposal will be considered next week.

The deputy noted that the proposal to impeach the minister was accepted due to the depreciation of the national currency, the rise in the price of gold, inflation, the situation in the stock market, as well as the failure to fulfill his promises.

It was stated that the representatives of the Iranian parliament can impeach the Cabinet of Ministers or any minister in cases they consider necessary. Impeachment can be proposed to the parliament with the signatures of at least 10 deputies.
