The IX Summit of TDT leaders will have an important role in strengthening relations between the countries - OPINION
"The 9th Summit of TDT leaders held in Samarkand the other day will have an important role in strengthening the relations of 7 countries with the same religion, language, culture and views on the future".
Azer Badamov, member of the Milli Mejlis, member of the Board of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), said these words in his statement to Qazet.az reports according to "Report".
According to him, the relations between the countries of the world are experiencing the most difficult period due to the interests of certain circles:
"The modern world has created new challenges. These challenges make the creation of new cooperation formats more urgent. In the world, wars and double standards are deepening day by day, not only between countries belonging to different religions. Even between countries with religious and cultural similarities, we observe an increase in contradictions."
YAP functionary said that today the most active and prospective format with its activity in the new world order is the Organization of Turkic States (TDT):
"The 9th Summit of TDT leaders held in Samarkand the other day will play an important role in strengthening the relations of 7 states with the same religion, language, culture and views on the future in accordance with today's challenges. It was Azerbaijan. Because today Azerbaijan is freeing its lands from occupation with its own strength and plays an important role in expanding the connection between the countries included in this organization. Thanks to the visionary policy of President Ilham Aliyev, international transit and export of hydrocarbon resources projects implemented on time not only our country, but also is of great importance for a large geography. If we look at the provisions of the declaration signed at the summit meeting, we will see that the agreements are intended to deepen cooperation in economic, cultural, humanitarian and security issues. Also, during the discussions, Turkic speakers living in the world The opinions expressed on the issue of conducting coordinated activities between peoples are also of great importance".
The deputy emphasized that the use of the Zangezur corridor, mentioned in the final declaration of the summit meeting, will contribute to the expansion of economic opportunities between our countries in addition to creating a physical connection between the Turkic world:
"The countries included in the TDT are located in a geography rich in natural resources with a population of more than 200 million. But, unfortunately, the commercial and economic potential between our countries is below the current potential. I believe that thanks to the implementation of the agreements reached, the economic relations between our countries will deepen and trade cycle will increase many times.
Thus, in the declaration, the heads of state and government participating in the Summit reiterated their determination to further deepen and expand cooperation within the multilateral framework of TDT, based on the common history, language, culture, traditions and values of the Turkish peoples, and contribute to Azerbaijan's post-conflict recovery, reconstruction and reintegration efforts. once again confirmed their readiness to give. Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have already begun to contribute to the reconstruction and restoration works in our territories freed from occupation. I believe that the school and creative center to be built in Fuzuli will become a symbol of the brotherhood of our peoples. The declaration of Shamakhi as the "tourist capital of the Turkish world" in 2023, the approval of the Strategy of TDT for 2022-2026, and the declaration of Samarkand as the "capital of Turkish civilization" are historical events and will serve to bring our nations closer together in the future.
