Clarification has been given to the information spread about massive cutting of trees in the forests around the village of Tayifli, Oguz region, and their transportation to wood processing shops.

Qazet.az reports, head of the State Environmental Security Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, said this at a press conference on the results of 2022.

He said that an investigation was carried out by the employees of the State Environmental Security Service during the holidays: "During the investigation, the residents of Tayifli village of Oguz district, whose names were mentioned as complainants in the said information, Shirinov Tapdig Zahid oglu, Dursunov Murvat Seyid oglu and Khalilov Ilham Nacmeddin oglu Oguz District Executive Authority "Despite the fact that their names were mentioned in the application, they were not aware of the writing of that application, giving a written explanation in the representative office of the head of the Tayifli EIA. However, despite this, during the on-site inspection of the forest enclosures located around the village of Tayifli, Oguz region, no cases of massive cutting of trees and their transportation to wood processing shops were recorded."
