The New Zealand government imposed sanctions on citizens of Russia and Belarus
The New Zealand government imposed sanctions against 22 citizens of Russia and Belarus, as well as some enterprises operating in the oil and gas and steel casting sectors.
Qazet.az reports with reference to TASS that New Zealand's Foreign Minister Nanaia Mahuta said this.
The new sanctions list includes citizens of the Russian Federation Maria Vorontsova and Katerina Tikhonova, the wife and children of the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, the head of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina, the wife and son of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. Some Russian businessmen and entrepreneurs have also been subject to sanctions.
