The number of dead in the explosion in Kirkuk province of Iraq has increased - UPDATE

The number of policemen killed as a result of an explosion in Kirkuk province of Iraq has reached 10.

Qazet.az report  that "Al Arabiya" TV channel broadcasted information about this.

According to "Shafaq News" news portal, after the explosion, a shootout started between the security forces and a group of militants who had laid an ambush. One of the terrorists was killed. Currently, the police in the Al-Khuwayji region is conducting a large-scale special operation to arrest the terrorists who managed to escape.

It should be noted that the incident took place near the village of Al-Khuwayja in the north of Kirkuk province.
