President Ilham Aliyev signed the law "On the establishment of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN in Nairobi".

At the same time, the head of state signed an order on ensuring the activities of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN branch in Nairobi.
According to the order, the Cabinet of Ministers should resolve material and technical supply and financing issues related to the operation of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN in Nairobi. At the same time, it should resolve other issues arising from this order.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan must approve the structure and staffing of the Permanent Mission.
