The President approved the next year's state budget
President Ilham Aliyev approved the law "On the state budget of 2023" adopted by the Milli Majlis on December 9.

Qazet.az reports  that the revenues of the budget next year will be 30,774 million manats, and the expenses will be 33,353.3 million manats.

These are 5.4% and 3.25% higher than the approved 2021 forecasts, respectively.

As a result, the budget will have a deficit of 2,579.3 million manats, which means a 17% decrease compared to the year.

30,017 million manats of budget revenues are centralized and 757 million manats are local revenues, and 32,584 million manats of budget expenditures are centralized and 769.3 million manats are local costs.
