On November 29, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the delegation headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov of the Russian Federation.

Qazet.az reports that Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that he visited Azerbaijan with a large delegation. He drew attention to the fact that the delegation included representatives of numerous companies, and expressed satisfaction that within the framework of cooperation between the regions of Russia and Azerbaijan, Tatarstan's relations with our country are also developing.

Expressing his satisfaction with the beauty of Baku, Rustam Minnikhanov noted the rapid development of our country and emphasized the work done in the direction of increasing the industrial potential of Azerbaijan.

The head of our state noted that the dialogue between the presidents of the two countries is the main guiding factor for the development of our cooperation in all fields. The President of Azerbaijan touched upon the importance of high-level mutual visits during the current year, emphasized the importance of his own visits to Russia, visits at the level of legislative bodies and governments of the two countries. Highlighting the importance of interregional contacts in the development of relations between our countries, President Ilham Aliyev noted the comprehensive development of relations between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan in this regard.

At the meeting, the production of "KamAZ" in Azerbaijan was highlighted with satisfaction, in this regard, the importance of laying the foundation of a joint service center of "KamAZ" OJSC and "Ganja Automobile Plant" Production Union in the Araz valley industrial zone in the presence of President Ilham Aliyev in Jabrayl, which was freed from occupation, was noted in October last year.

Cooperation between the industrial zones operating in Azerbaijan and Tatarstan was touched upon at the meeting, and it was reported that these issues will be discussed more broadly at the business forum held in Baku.

During the conversation, within the framework of Azerbaijan-Russia comprehensive relations, a wide range of ideas were exchanged between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan on energy, petrochemical, investments, transport, logistics, industrial corporations, humanitarian, tourism, information and communication technologies and other issues of cooperation.
