The price of natural gas in Europe exceeded 1,660 US dollars for the first time since mid-October.

January futures of natural gas in TTF (Netherlands), which is the most liquid hub in Europe, started trading at USD 1,610.8 (+2.8%) per 1,000 cubic meters. Later, the price of natural gas increased by 6.3% and amounted to 1665.9 US dollars.
