The Prime Minister of Azerbaijan met with the President of Georgia in Tbilisi
Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, who is on an official visit to Tbilisi, met with the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili on December 15.

Qazet.az report  was informed about this by the Press Service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.

A. Asadov conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the President of Georgia.

It was reported that Azerbaijan-Georgia relations have a broad agenda. It was emphasized that there is successful cooperation between the two countries both in the bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations.

The importance of the visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Georgia in October of this year was noted.

The importance of transport and energy projects implemented jointly by Azerbaijan and Georgia was emphasized.

The importance of the 9th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Georgia held in Tbilisi was also noted.

At the meeting, views were also exchanged on the perspectives of cooperation between the two countries.
