Today morning, the delays recorded in the passenger trains moving along the Absheron circular railway line occurred due to the intervention of outsiders in the electric cable feeding the control panel while moving in the direction of Sabunchu station.

Qazet.az reports that this is stated in the information of "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC.

"As a result, there was a short circuit on the line, the voltage was interrupted and there were partial delays in the schedule of trains. The difficulty was quickly resolved and the schedule of trains was restored.

In addition, due to a technical fault in the direction of Guzdek, there were partial delays in the schedule of trains running on the Sumgayit-Khirdalan-Baku line. The technical fault was eliminated in a short period of time and the movement of trains was restored according to the schedule," the information said.

"Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC is conducting a relevant investigation into both incidents.
