The Republican Forum of Young Scientists is held in Baku
The Republican Forum of Young Scientists on "Security and Challenges in the Caucasus" has started in Baku.

Qazet.az reports that the event jointly organized by the STEM Analytical Center and the Caucasian Studies Institute of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences is dedicated to Azerbaijan's victory in the 44-day Patriotic War.

Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Indira Hajiyeva, Chairman of the Board of the Center for the Analysis of International Relations Farid Shafiyev, MPs of the Milli Majlis, well-known scientists, experts and political scientists take part in the opening of the forum.

The head of the STEM Analytical Center, Orkhan Yolchuyev, told reporters that the main goal of the forum is to reveal talented young scientists who have the ability to conduct research on topical issues of the region: "We selected the best students, bachelors, and graduate students to participate in the forum. Those who wanted to participate had to send us their thesis in advance. We selected the best 70 theses and invited them to participate in this forum.

Deputy Musa Gasimli emphasized that it is important to study the Caucasus region: "Each of us should know the region we live in well. You can't sit quietly at home when there's a fire in the neighborhood. Caucasian studies has great prospects. Therefore, it is necessary to pay more attention to practice."
