"After the war, the situation in the region has changed. Azerbaijan has strengthened its position not only in the region, but in the world. The role of young scientists is especially important in the current conditions," he said at the press conference dedicated to the forum.
Political scientist Ilgar Velizade emphasized that the Republican Forum is a unique opportunity for young scientists to demonstrate their research potential, develop public speaking skills and represent Azerbaijan on the world scale in the future.
Answering the journalists' questions, the political scientist noted that there are still forces trying to destabilize the region: "This is a very dangerous game. Throughout history, third countries have tried to secure their interests in the region."
