The summit of G20 leaders has ended
The 9th summit of the heads of state and government of the G20 member countries, held in Bali, Indonesia, has ended.
Qazet.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wrote this on Twitter.
He said that international political and economic issues were discussed within the framework of the summit: "For the past 3 years, our world has been going through a painful phase that started with the coronavirus pandemic and has been intensified by war and regional conflicts. The excessive increase in the prices of energy, food and raw materials affects all economies without exception.
According to the Turkish leader, the inflation figures in many regions, including Europe and the United States, are an indication of the current difficulties.
It should be noted that the G20 includes Turkey, Russia, USA, Germany, Argentina, Australia, Great Britain, Brazil, Republic of South Africa, South Korea, China, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Japan and including the European Union.
Russian President Vladimir Putin did not attend the Bali summit. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov represented Russia at the summit meeting.
