The Supreme Order of the Turkic World was presented to Erdogan

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan with the Supreme Order of the Turkic World based on the results of the summit of the Organization of Turkic States held in Samarkand.

Qazet.az reportswith reference to "Anadolu" that the head of the Turkish state expressed his gratitude and pride for being awarded this order.

"The Supreme Order of the Turkic World places great responsibility on me to strengthen relations with Turkic-speaking countries, to unite our peoples, and to increase the reputation of the Organization of Turkic States in the world," R.T. Erdogan said.

According to him, the Organization of Turkic States has established itself as a recognized international structure: "The Turkish world has more power today than yesterday. Our countries are united in the desire for close integration and cooperation in various fields: from sports to culture, from politics to trade. The platform of the Organization of Turkic States is the result of the joint efforts of our states."

The Turkish head of state expressed confidence that the joint efforts of the Turkish states will make it possible to overcome any challenges and obstacles.

It should be noted that yesterday the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan with a high state award - "Imam Bukhari" order.
