The tanker "Professor Aziz Aliyev" was overhauled
The overhaul of the tanker "Professor Aziz Aliyev" belonging to the Sea Transport Fleet of "Azerbaijan Khazar Sea Shipping" CJSC (ASCO) has been completed.

Referring to ASCO, Qazet.az reports that the repair works were carried out at the "Zigh" Ship Repair and Construction Plant.

The underwater and surface parts of the tanker are triple painted after cleaning with abrasive sand. Painting works were also carried out on the main deck and mechanisms of the ship.

Along with the main engine, coolers, pumps and other mechanisms, the ship's auxiliary steam boiler and auxiliary boiler were also repaired. In addition, hull-welding, electrical installation, pipe installation, automation works were performed on the tanker.

A ballast water purification device was installed on the "Professor Aziz Aliyev" tanker.

In addition, the living and service rooms of the sailors on the ship have been renovated at the level of modern requirements.

The tanker, which successfully completed the test voyage, was returned to operation.
