The Ukrainian side clarified Russia's return to the "Grain Agreement".
"Moscow did not return to the "Grain Agreement" "because someone gave it some guarantees". He returned because he was given a lot of behind-the-scenes diplomatic influence by the UN Secretary General and the President of Turkey."
Qazet.az reports about that. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmitry Kuleba, said this.
The minister also confirmed that Kyiv has indeed promised not to use the humanitarian corridors for military purposes within the framework of the "Grain Agreement".
"We have never used the green corridor for military purposes and we are ready to do it again. We do not intend to use this corridor for military purposes," said Kuleba.
In turn, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleg Nikolenko, noted that Kyiv did not take additional obligations under the "Grain Agreement". Because he has never threatened the grain route before.
"Our state has not taken any new obligations that deviate from the existing obligations in the "Grain Agreement", Nikolenko said.
