The White House has confirmed that President Joe Biden will announce that the US will send Patriot air and missile defence systems to Ukraine to aid in the war against Russia, Qazet.az reports.

Biden will announce a “significant” new package of nearly $2bn of security assistance for Ukraine, a readout of a White House call with reporters on Tuesday reads.
