The World Bank has increased its forecasts regarding the economic growth of Azerbaijan

The World Bank (WB) predicts that the production of gross domestic product (GDP) in Azerbaijan will increase by 4.2% this year, and by 2.8% in 2023.
Qazet.az reports that this was stated in the bank's "Europe and Central Asia Economic Update" report.
According to the document, this is 1.5% and 0.6% higher than the World Bank's June forecast, respectively.
The World Bank expects Azerbaijan's economy to grow by 2.6% in 2024, which is 0.3 percentage points higher than the previous forecast.
