The World Bank will start preparing the Partnership Strategy with Azerbaijan
In the near future, the World Bank, together with the government of Azerbaijan, will start preparing a Partnership Strategy that will cover the next few years.

Qazet.az reports that Zaur Rzayev, adviser on foreign relations of the World Bank representative office in Azerbaijan, said this in his statement to journalists.

He noted that specific projects and directions included in the strategy will be discussed in the coming months and certain agreements will be reached by the spring of next year.

Azerbaijan has been a member of the World Bank since 1992. The Bank supports many national development priorities in Azerbaijan - development of human capital, expansion of access to infrastructure, public services and jobs, investment in competitiveness of agriculture and development of rural areas, support for internally displaced persons, etc. has financed more than 50 projects with a total value of more than 4.4 billion US dollars.
