The head of the State Traffic Police Department addressed the traffic participants regarding the current situation on the highways.

According to Qazet.az reports the application states:

"Due to the unfavorable weather conditions prevailing in the territory of the republic, it is currently foggy and rainy on the country's highways, including the 40th kilometer of the Mughanli-Ismayilli road, the 28-62, 78-94 and 93-152 kilometers of the Garamaryam-Ismayilli-Sheki road, foggy weather is also observed on the 13-157th kilometers of the Yevlakh-Zagatala-Georgia road and the 3-30th kilometers of the Sheki-Gakh road.

As limited visibility on the road hinders the timely and clear visibility of signs, marking lines, regulation devices and other traffic participants in such weather, drivers should be even more careful in such weather, choose the speed limit according to the weather conditions, make sure that the vehicle, especially the external light devices, are in good condition, overtake and must strictly observe safety rules during maneuvering and take preventive measures to avoid unpleasant incidents.
