According to information, the "Admiral Kuznetsov" cruiser is being repaired at the Zvezdochka plant. Alexei Rakhmanov claims that a "small fire" broke out during the renovation. According to him, there was no damage or casualties. The fire was extinguished as a result of the fire extinguishing system of the ship.

It should be noted that this cruiser was commissioned in 1991. He participated in the operations of the Russian Armed Forces in many regions of the world, including Syria and the Black Sea. The cruiser has a capacity of 24-26 fighters and 12 helicopters.

Russia's only aircraft carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov" will resume its operations in the fleet in 2024. The cruiser was repaired after participating in operations in Syria in 2018.
