There was a shootout between the militants of the "Taliban" government, which rules Afghanistan, and the Iranian border guards.

Qazet.az reports that the information was spread by "8am.media".

It was reported that the incident took place on the "Abrisham" ("Silk") bridge in Zaranj, Nimruz province, Afghanistan.

It is alleged that the Iranian border guards opened fire on a vehicle with Afghan state registration number that was carrying illegal fuel that did not obey the "Stop" order. Although the first car left, Iran managed to force the border guards to stop the second one. They beat the driver.

In response to them, "Taliban" militants opened fire on the car of Iranian border guards. The shooting lasted more than an hour. After that, the parties started talking.

No information about casualties and injuries has been released.
