As a result of a shooting in one of the cafes in the Fiden district of Rome, the capital of Italy, 3 women, including the girlfriend of Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni, died and 4 others were injured.

It was reported that the incident was recorded during the Council meeting of the residents of the multi-apartment building.
Thus, the mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualteri, called the shooting "a serious episode of violence". The city government is holding an emergency meeting regarding the incident.
It was noted that a 57-year-old man suspected of committing the crime was detained. According to information, he had a disagreement with some of the members of the Council. He shouted "I will kill you all" while shooting. Two of the injured are men and two are women. One of the injured men is in critical condition.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni said that one of the dead women - Nicoletta Golisano - was his friend: "No one should die like this. Nicoletta was a caring mother. He had just turned 50. He will always live in my memory as beautiful and happy."
According to reports, the other dead women are Elizabetta Silensi and Sabina Sperandi.
