According to Qazet.az report , this was said by Rafael Agayev, who won the championship belt in "Karate Combat", after the fight in which he won against Raymond Daniels, the representative of the USA.

The 35-year-old athlete said that he worked hard to win the belt: "My mother died one year and eight months ago. This is the first gold medal I have received since then. I dedicate the award to my mother and my people. I achieved my dream and became the world champion."

Agayev said that Daniels is the strongest fighter he faced in "Karate Combat".

It should be noted that Rafael Agayev is a 5-time world and 11-time European karate champion, silver medalist of the Tokyo-2020 Summer Olympic Games. He has been fighting in "Karate Combat" since 2018.
