Qazet.az reports that Anar Bayramov, the Chairman of the Board of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, said this at a press conference on the work done in 2022.

He said that the assessment of disability was carried out on the electronic infrastructure, on the basis of the referrals entered into the e-system by healthcare institutions, without citizen-official (expert) contact. After the introduction of new criteria for the assessment of disability, 14,063 persons were assigned disability based on the percentage of impairment of body functions. Also, in the current year, medical and social-psychological rehabilitation services were provided to 48,650 people with disabilities in the rehabilitation institutions of the Agency, which is 6 times more than last year. This year, more than 26,600 people with disabilities were provided with 57,800 rehabilitation tools.
