Qazet.az reports that the First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel-General Karim Valiyev, said this at the Collegium meeting of the Ministry of Defense regarding the results of 2022.

Analyzing the service-combat activity of the Azerbaijan Army in 2022, the colonel-general said that by conducting various types of military training and combat training exercises, the combat capability of the troops has been further increased, and the level of professionalism of the personnel has increased.

At the meeting, as a result of the engineering measures carried out in the liberated areas, detailed information was given on the construction of new roads, the cleaning of the areas from mines and unexploded ammunition.
