This year, the most popular names for children in Azerbaijan have been announced

Qazet.az reports presents the top ten names given to children this year:

So, during the ten months of this year, the most common name given to boys in Azerbaijan is Ugur. Since the beginning of 2022, this name has been given to 1647 children.

In addition, 1,543 boys were named Ali, 1,452 were named Hussein, 1,359 were named Yusif, 1,040 were named Muhammad, 900 were named Raul, 896 were named Omar, 856 were named Murad, 703 were named Adam, and 664 were named Tunar.

Also, during the ten months of this year, the name Zahra maintained the first place among girls. Since the beginning of 2022, this name has been given to 1504 children.

In addition, 1248 children were named Aylin, 1218 children Zeynab, 1214 children Maryam, 1043 children Fatima, 1013 children Nilay, 982 children Malak, 830 children Ayla, 815 children Inci and 788 children Nuray.
