Three NATO countries will give Ukraine 70 aircraft

 

Bulgaria, Poland and Slovakia will provide Ukraine with 70 military aircraft to be stationed at Polish airports.

The statement came from the press service of the Ukrainian Navy, Qazet.az reports

“70 aircraft for the Ukrainian army! Our partners give us MiG-29 and Su-25 aircraft! If necessary, Ukrainian pilots will perform combat missions using Polish airfields.”

Bulgaria will supply Ukraine with 16 MiG-29 fighter jets and 14 Su-25 fighter jets, Poland will supply 28 MiG-29 and Slovakia will supply 12 MiG-29 fighter jets.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said the bloc's foreign ministers had agreed to supply Ukraine with 450m euros in deadly weapons. In addition, Borrell said that the EU will supply military aircraft to Ukraine
