Tobias Bauman, executive director of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce ("AHK Azerbaijan"), said this in his statement to Qazet.az reports

"We are witnessing the growing interest in the reconstruction of cities and villages. Moreover, we see interest in architecture and construction work from German companies," he said.

According to him, the construction of schools, houses and other buildings requires "intelligent solutions" and there are companies in Germany that can contribute to this process.

T. Bauman informed that not so many German companies are represented in Karabakh, because many projects there belong to the state.

He pointed to "AzVirt" LLC, an Azerbaijani-German joint venture, as an example of the participation of German companies: "This Azerbaijani company, which uses German technologies and has German shareholders, is a member of "AHK Azerbaijan". "AzVirt" makes a great contribution to the reconstruction of Karabakh. The company participated in the construction of a new road from Fuzuli to Shusha, as well as in the construction of airports in Fuzuli and Zangilan. Now he is participating in the construction of the airport in Lachin.
