Turkey reduced natural gas imports from Russia and increased supplies from Iran and Azerbaijan

In July, Turkey reduced natural gas imports from Russia by 37.2%, and increased supplies from Iran and Azerbaijan.

Qazet.az reports with reference to "Anadolu" agency that this is stated in the report of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey.

"In July 2022, the import of natural gas to Turkey decreased by 15.7% compared to the same period last year and amounted to approximately 3 billion 411 million cubic meters," the agency said.
