Turkish defense minister: Armenia must abandon hostility and look to future

President Ilham Aliyev and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan took a constructive approach to bequeath peace to future generations and ushered in a new era based on stability and cooperation, Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar said at an event on the occasion of Victory Day in Baku, Qazet.az informs.
“We expect the Armenian authorities to abandon the current policy and take advantage of this historic opportunity, including our proposal for cooperation in the format of 'six.' Everyone should know that the future cannot be built on resentment and hatred. Armenia should abandon hostility and look to the future. We will continue our efforts to maintain peace, tranquility and stability in our region within our historical responsibility,” said Akar.
