Turkish president visits Ataturk Mausoleum on occasion of Republic Day

The Turkish authorities continue to take decisive steps to turn this century into the ‘Centenary of Turkiye’ and to make the dreams of the Turkish people come true, against all odds, reads a note by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, left during a visit to the mausoleum of the founder of the Turkish Republic and the first President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Qazet.az reports according to Anadolu Agency.

The visit of the head of state to the mausoleum is timed to coincide with the celebration of Republic Day in Turkiye on October 29.
