U.S. State Department’s Deputy Assistant Secretary to pay a visit to Azerbaijan
A meeting will be held in Yerevan with the participation of heads of US diplomatic missions in the South Caucasus
Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State Erika Olson will pay a visit to South Caucasus, according to US Embassy to Armenia, Qazet.az reports.
It has been noted that E. Olson will visit Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia to promote regional cooperation and discuss bilateral relations.
A meeting will be held in Yerevan with the participation of heads of US diplomatic missions in the South Caucasus from November 2 to 4 on the sidelines of Erika Olson's visit to Armenia. The meeting will be attended by U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Lynne M. Tracy, U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Kelly C. Degnan, and U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Litzenberger, as well as American co-chair Andrew Schofer and USAID Deputy Assistant Administrator Alexander Sokolowski.
E. Olson will pay a visit to Azerbaijan and Georgia relatively after Armenia.
