The Armenian provocation in the "Marseille" - "Karabakh" match in the playoffs of the UEFA Europa Conference League caused the punishment of the hosting team, Qazet.az reports citing the foreign press.

It was stated that opening provocative banners and "rag" of separatists in Karabakh in tribune during the match, which took place on February 17 at the Velodrome, will cost the Marseille leadership dearly.

Marseille will be punished by UEFA for using illegal banners, lighting torches, and blocking public passages.

Notably, the hosting team won the match in Marseille with a score of 3: 1. The response match will be held on February 24 in Baku.
