Ukraine has found ways to neutralize Iranian UAVs

The Ukrainian Air Force has found ways to neutralize the unmanned aerial vehicles provided by Iran to Russia.

Qazet.az reports with reference to "RBK Ukraine" that Oleksiy Reznikov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine, informed about this.

According to him, Ukraine has appealed to partners in order to fight against Iranian UAVs used by Russia in the war.

It should be noted that the USA and Israel gave Ukraine anti-drones in order to fight against Iranian drones.

It should be noted that the news about the delivery of Iranian military drones to Russia was spread in July of this year. According to the BBC, this includes tactical drones, quadcopters and aircraft of the first class, and medium and heavy UAVs classified as "long-endurance" depending on the altitude of the second and third classes (MALE UAV and HALE UAV). According to the classification, the "Mohajer-6" UAVs supplied to Russia belong to the second class.

According to information, the Iranians used them in Afghanistan in the late 1990s. Despite their common name, "Shahed-129" and "Shahed-191" are very different UAVs. They are different from the prototypes of Western production. It is believed that "Shahed-129" was created on the basis of the Israeli "Hermes 450" drone that fell into the hands of Iranian engineers. "Shahed-191" is based on the US "Q-170 Sentinel" drone.

About ten days ago, Iranian UAVs were observed in the sky of Ukraine and neutralized. After that, Ukraine reconsidered its relations with Iran, expelled the ambassador from the country and reduced the number of employees of the diplomatic corps.
