Ukraine has recorded 6,754 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook, Qazet.az reports citing Ukrinform.
"Some 6,754 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 625 cases among children and 125 cases among healthcare workers) were recorded in Ukraine on September 21, 2021," the report reads.
According to the report, 105 coronavirus-related deaths, 2,175 hospitalizations, and 2,095 recoveries were registered in Ukraine on September 21.
As many as 2,362,559 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,235,668 have recovered, and 55,161 have died since the pandemic began. A total of 12,551,650 PCR tests have been performed so far.
The largest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was recorded in Kharkiv region (774), Dnipropetrovsk region (556), Donetsk region (460), Kyiv (456), and Lviv region (449).
