Ukraine’s UPG acquires terminal for transshipment of petroleum products in Poland
The Ukrainian group of companies UPG has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of the Polish Baltchem S.A. Zaklady Chemiczne, Qazet.az reports according to RBC-Ukraine.
The UPG filling station network has at its disposal a powerful marine terminal in Poland for transshipment and storage of petroleum products, which will allow uninterrupted supply of fuel to Ukraine at affordable prices.
The company noted that reliable and stable partnerships have already been established with such European producers of high-quality petroleum products as Royal Dutch Shell, Total Energies SE, Neste Oyj, Glencore Energy. Accordingly, all types of fuel sold by the UPG national filling station network are supplied from Europe and comply with the fifth environmental standard.
