Ukrainian ambassador thanked Azerbaijan
"I thank the friendly people of Azerbaijan for their large-scale help to Ukraine during these difficult war days."

Qazet.az reports that Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladislav Kanevsky said this in his statement to journalists.

"Among the aid provided by Azerbaijan, we do not forget that many lives were saved in Ukraine thanks to thousands of tons of food products, medical equipment and medical supplies. All the aid provided so far is a clear example of Azerbaijan's sincere friendship, and we appreciate it very much. We will never forget it. To the leadership and people of Azerbaijan we are very grateful. I believe that with the help of our friends, we will stand on our feet and definitely win," the ambassador said.

It should be noted that in response to the appeals received by Ukraine, Azerbaijan has sent humanitarian aid consisting of basic electrical equipment to the people of Ukraine today in order to restore the stable supply of electricity to the affected areas due to the current situation.

The weight of the mentioned cargo is 52.2 tons and it is transported by 4 TIR trucks. In order to fully deliver the humanitarian cargo, the total amount of which is approximately 1 million 422 thousand manats, it is planned to leave the second truck convoy in the next few days.

It should be recalled that the total amount of humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan in connection with the crisis in Ukraine is already close to 30 million manats.
