V1 Challenge Baku Cup was held
A tournament and drift show from one of the car races - V1 Challenge series was held on the State Flag Square.

According to Qazet.az reports, the V1 Challenge Baku Cup held for the first time was organized by the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation and the Baku City Ring Operating Company, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and "Regional Development" Public Union.

In "Volkicars", local pilots fought for the first place with maneuvers. 12 pilots demonstrated their skills on the race track.

The engine of "Volkicar" racing cars has 115 horsepower and can reach a speed of 100 km/h in 5 seconds. The race is aimed at the development of local motor sports, as well as providing adrenaline-filled moments to motor sports enthusiasts.

The winners were determined by a jury consisting of local and foreign experts. Well-known drifters Niall Gunn and Richard Martin were also represented in the jury.

The 6 pilots with the fastest results in the V1 Challenge Baku Cup qualified for the finals. Cups were presented to the winners of the first 3 places in the final. Certificates were given to drift show pilots.

It should be noted that although several races of the V1 Challenge series have been organized in Azerbaijan, the V1 Challenge Baku Cup was held for the first time.
