Venezuelan president Maduro to visit Tehran

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his visiting Venezuelan counterpart Felix Plasencia held a meeting at the Iranian Foreign Ministry

"The president of Venezuela will come to Tehran in the coming months," Iranian Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian said during a joint news conference with the Venezuelan counterpart in Tehran on Monday, Qazet.az reports citing Mehr News Agency.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his visiting Venezuelan counterpart Felix Plasencia held a meeting at the Iranian Foreign Ministry compound in Tehran on Monday morning, followed by a joint press conference.

The Iranian foreign minister told the joint press conference, "We agreed to draw a roadmap for 20 years of cooperation between the two countries. The Venezuelan president will visit Tehran in the coming months, during which a 20-year cooperation document will be signed."
