Virgil Popescu: "Romania needs transit contracts for gas transportation from Azerbaijan"

Romania needs transit contracts to transport natural gas from Azerbaijan.

According to Qazet.az , this was stated by the Minister of Energy of Romania, Virgil Popescu, at the Romanian International Gas Conference (RIGC), which started its work in Bucharest today.

According to him, the Romanian side has been working on the import of natural gas from other countries besides Russia for a long time. We are working on them. We will present them to the public after completing the transit contract of natural gas and the unloading of LNG at certain ports in Greece or Turkey."
