Volodymyr Zelenskiy has said only Russia would use nuclear weapons in Europe

The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskiy has said only Russia would use nuclear weapons in Europe, following evidence-free allegations by the Russian defence minister that Ukraine was preparing to use a ‘dirty bomb’ on its own territory, Qazet.az reports.

Zelenskiy pointed out that Russia was using “nuclear blackmail” at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, “phosphorus munitions” and “banned anti-personnel mines against civilian infrastructure’”. He said Russia was preparing to use the very weapon it was accusing Ukraine of holding.
