UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres announced that an agreement was reached in this regard.

"I welcome the agreement to continue the Black Sea Grain Initiative to facilitate the safe export of grain, food and fertilizer exports from Ukraine," he tweeted.

According to the Secretary General, discreet diplomacy should be continued.

Diplomatic sources announced that the decision to extend the term of the "Grain Agreement" was made at the end of the discussions held in Istanbul.
