According to Qazet.az reports, this was reported by the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA).

Thus, AQTA has warned about home-made canned products.

It was reported that the use of home-made products is more common in winter months. Many people preserve fruits and vegetables at home using traditional methods so that they can use them not only in season, but also in other months. The existence of such situations reveals the fact of risk related to food safety:

"As a result of the improper canning process, it leads to food poisoning, which is called "Botulism" in medicine, and causes death. Cans spoil if the sanitary-hygienic rules, sterilization parameters, storage regime or hermeticity of the tar are not properly followed during production.
