Warning from Britain: "Foreign citizens should leave Iran immediately"

The Iranian government imprisons foreign nationals for blackmail, tortures them and puts pressure on their countries.

A day after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the arrest of seven people, including several dual nationals "connected" to Britain, Alicia Kearns, head of the UK Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, advised all Westerners to leave Iran immediately.

He also stated that the Iranian government appeared to be arresting people with "joy" because it was trying to blame foreign powers for the ongoing anti-government protests.
